I have not experienced racism as a Black woman because I am not a Black woman. I have the right to have an opinion on what I have experienced, which is being vilified every time I ask a legitimate question or offer a differing opinion.

So far, two of the commenters on this thread have been very helpful to me. They pointed out that when I reference "all women", it angers Black women because it diminishes their experiences. They said that when someone is explaining their pain, they don't want to hear about someone else's pain. I should have realized that and will take the lesson to heart.

Answers like those that help me understand what Black women want are what I am looking for and I am certainly willing to use them.
